How do I get an Advocate
Citizen Advocacy Auckland provides assistance for people with intellectual disability who are 18 years or over.
If you, or someone you know, have an intellectual disability, then you can get support from Citizen Advocacy. If you also have other disabilities, you can get support.
But if you have disabilities other than intellectual disability, we will refer you to other agencies and services for support.
How do you get an advocate?
If you, or someone you know, need the support of Citizen Advocacy Auckland, contact our office - Ph (09) 358 4141 and we will try our best to assist you.
We usually talk with you on the phone or meet with you to discuss your needs, then we try to match you with an advocate with similar interests to your own.
